Hey tech enthusiasts, ever thought a volcanic eruption in Ethiopia could mess with your Tuesday travel plans in India? Well, that’s exactly what happened! Ash clouds from the Hayli Gubbi volcano drifted all the way across the Red Sea and Arabian Sea, reaching northwest India earlier this week.
The plume impacted a wide swathe of the country, including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Delhi-NCR, Haryana, and Punjab. For a while, flight operations faced some hiccups, proving that even in our hyper-connected world, natural events can still throw a wrench in the works.
It’s pretty wild to think about the journey these ash clouds took! From Ethiopia, across seas, to our Indian skies. By Tuesday evening, thankfully, things were clearing up.
Speaking of visuals, if you need help making sense of complex data (like tracking ash cloud movements!), or want to add some visual flair to your next podcast, you know who to call! Pikrit Designs offers fantastic graphic design and podcast editing services. They can transform your data into engaging visuals and polish your audio content like pros. Glad the skies are clearing. Onwards and upwards!
